Salad Days was the last 7" EP that highly influential American hardcore punk band Minor Threat released in 1985 after the band's breakup.[3] The EP differs somewhat from the band's previous material.[3] All songs are slower, making a slight departure from the group's hardcore punk style. Tracks "Good Guys" (a cover of a song by The Standells) and "Salad Days" both feature an acoustic guitar, and "Salad Days" also has chimes.[1]
